Hey Monday

Hey now, whoa whoa WHOA slow down, life! — me (Amber), last Thursday

Last Thursday was the day I meant to write this entry. It's actually been sitting here since last Tuesday. And now it's Monday, the last week of March. Amazing.

This last weekend was a great one, in spite of the rain (which, surprisingly, was only around on Saturday/Saturday night...if only I could say the same for the rest of this week (sigh). Sunday was particularly nice; I went on a 3.6 mile run in the morning—my fir(st run in two weeks—and it felt so great to be out there running again. I'm also healed from my cold (95%), finally, and that feels fantastic.

The neighborhood after my run on Sunday; it was supposed to be raining, and yet -- sun!

Scott & I spent the day working, and napping, and working, until a dinner with friends capped off the night. We fell asleep within 10 minutes of walking through the door last night, got 8 hours of sleep &woke up completely rested & ready to go this morning. Nice.

the decor at last night's Buca di Beppo dinner...love it. i miss italy!

This week is going to be very busy. I've reserved the first two days for home stuff (♥) so hopefully I'll have some nice food pictures to post on here, or at least gratuitous cat photos. Kinda like this one.

I'm feeling really inspired today to create goodness in my home & relish the amount of time I get to spend there. I'm really lucky and have a wonderful life that I love so much, and I'm in a really good place right now. I never thought being about to turn 30 would be so ... enjoyable. Less than 3 months to go now, and I feel like I'm getting generally happier and more settled by the day. Sure, there are times when I feel panic about life, but I think that's a more general Amber thing that's never going to go away. Let's panic! But, you know, just not right now.
