It is a beautiful weekend here in San Francisco (as it frequently is this time of year, if I recall correctly). I am still not feeling quite like myself, and am not running at full capacity, and I really don't feel like I have full control over my life right now ... but lets face it, I've done it to myself, and I know how to fix it. I just don't seem to have the time, and now my birthday is only one week away, and everything's going at
ludicrous speed (who gets that reference?). This is when I have to breathe and remind myself of just how happy I am to be alive, and to get to put one foot in front of the other, and laugh and love and yes, even do laundry.
I'm also lucky enough to get to participate in one of my favorite photo gigs today—the
Haight-Ashbury Street Fair. This will be my third year in a row photographing the Masonic Stage, and I couldn't be happier about it. I really love this street fair, and every year I've had a truly incredible experience! Plus, the weather has historically been extremely summery on this date, and today promises to be no different, with a high of around 80 expected. I just need to remember to put sunscreen on my scalp this year (yes, ouch).
On that note, enjoy some snapshots from the last week of insane, wonderful life around here
