We're very aware that freedom isn't free, and that our ability to spend the day at Dolores Park without a care in the world was made possible by countless others who selflessly gave their lives to preserve our freedom. Today we didn't run into any tributes, but I like to think we were all more aware, regardless, of just what the price of freedom is.
