This is such a unique week for me. Today is my last day at work for the week, because I'll be taking Thursday and Friday to shoot the TYPO International Design Talks conference that my friend Meghan has organized for her employer, FontShop. It's going to be really fun and really exciting, and I'm honored to get to do this. I haven't really stuck my feet much into the design world since I graduated from design school and realized that I'm just not very good at it. I do love it, though, so I'm going to love shooting
and geeking out at the amazing talks and workshops.
The really weird part is that today just happens to be my last day in the office I've occupied at work for nearly 2 years. I'll be going back to the office where I started 6 years ago come Monday, albeit in a different position and with almost entirely different office mates. It's going to be weird. Good, but can you fathom the weirdness? It's just ... bizarre that it lined up like this.
Anyway. I thought I'd honor the TYPO conference by devoting this week's Pinterest Wednesday to some beautiful typography. Enjoy

even though i don't know much about it, typography is really interesting. it's amazing how a font can change the tone of a simple phrase.
ReplyDeleteI am in the same boat! I've really loved being immersed in the typography world these last 2 days. It's really complicated and political and beautiful and ugly, and of course I don't get most of it, but people who know a lot about typography are really fascinating!
